I made this project in a little over a week, using Cinema 4D, Octane and Xp. And After Effects for comping and Sony Vegas for sound design.
Usually I wouldn't show an animatic of a project, but for this sequence it played a fundamental role in the overall structure of the animation.

Which allowed me to lay out the sound design accordingly which I made using broken down stems of some music by isolating the melody, drums and bass. Mixed with some sound effects.
The client was insistent that I took advantage of the Noise Terrains I made a few months ago which I made a tutorial on also.

The ideas for the splines subsequently followed subject to art direction of the terrains, and they grew from there (no pun intended)
